About West Hampstead
West Hampstead is situated in north western London, bordered by Cricklewood on the northwest, Kilburn on the southwest, South Hampstead on the south, Swiss Cottage on the east, Frognal and Hampstead on the northeast, and Childs Hill on the north. The locale had remained a village, with the name West End, until the late nineteenth century.
